Review: 4.5 Stars

I absolutely loved Veer!  From the moment I started reading, I was hooked.  The main characters Becca and Gavin have amazing chemistry.  They may start off on the wrong foot but they make up for it in the end. I loved the alternating POVs Ivy used.

There was the perfect mixture of drama, romance, friendship and passion to keep me interested.  Highly recommend this one!!

Review: 3.5 stars

Broken is an emotional story about learning to love and trust after you have been broken.  Gabby is a young college student who has gone through heartbreak.  She has built up walls in hopes to numb the pain of her past.  Nothing seems to go her way...  Then she meets Bradley at a wedding.  It was instant chemistry.  The rest of the book is about Gabby trying to accept a loving relationship with Bradley.  

"You make me greedy for you.  I just can't get enough.  I wish you would just accept it for what it is and trust me."

This was a great story line.  I really enjoyed the dynamic between Gabby and Bradley.  Although I understood what Gabby went through in her past, I did get a little tired of her insecurities. That being said, it was a good story and I look forward to reading Book 2 in This Trilogy.

Rating:  3 stars

The reader can not help but fall in love with Jonas. A product of a traumatic experience and raised by a mother that is only trying to do right, despite her drunk of a husband. 

Rev. Chambers, the only known friend to Jonas was a character that I would like to have seen developed further. There is a secret of distrust that the reader is left wondering about. 

I foresee a sequel to this novella, unfolding the secrets, deceptions and lies that are held by the Reverend and upheld by Jonas' mother.

I think Mr. Hunter did a great job introducing the characters. My only want was to see more of an unveiling in this edition. I was left wanting more...which does work to his advantage for a sequel. 

Mr. Hunter...don't leave me waiting long. I can't wait to see what happens with Jonas, Delores and Paul, the drunk.

Review: 4.5 Stars 

It is rare that the 3rd book in a trilogy is more enjoyable than the first 2.  In this case, it is!! Ceaseless did not disappoint. It was a more mature and sexy addition to the trilogy.  

I loved the new twist to the story - Pagan already is connected to a soul, Jay her former high school boyfriend.  In order for Dank to keep her for himself, she has to choose on her own who she wants to be with.  To make it fair, The Diety took her memories.  All of them related to Dank.   

"If you want her Dankmar, then you have to win her heart from the soul made to be her mate."

Reading about Pagan's draw to Dank was fabulous.  She couldn't remember him and the connection they had was confusing. 

"It was hard to look away from his eyes.  Something in them was magnetic.  Almost like my body was drawn to him."

My favorite aspect of the book...the passion.  There was some major steam compared to the last 2 books!

"Understand this, Pagan Moore," he began in a deep sexy voice, "if you ever offer to strip for me then you will have my complete undivided, attention."

"Pagan's body was meant to be worshiped, and I would gladly do it for the rest of eternity." 

Overall, this was a great book!  I LOVED it!  Abbi Glines is one of my favorite authors.  If you haven't read her other works, check them out!
